Saving lives, and uniform

It's been a busy few months, with much happening behind the scenes, but we want to draw your attention to our very exciting new partnership with Ramsay Health Care UK.
In the last few weeks, Tees Valley Hospital has hosted a Uniting Uniforms collection bin, with volunteers helping to collect, clean and distribute uniforms to children who need it most across Teesside. It's been brilliant to see staff, patients and visitors get behind it, dropping off outgrown uniforms on their way in and out of the hospital. But most excitingly, this initiative has received the backing of Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen - which we are very grateful for!

In just a couple of weeks, over 150 items of clothing have been donated which will go straight to helping children right across Teesside. 

I want to say a heartfelt thank you for the overwhelming support we've had so far. With more bins in the pipeline, we're hoping to make this a permanent fixture in hospitals across the region.

And last week, we were pleased that Nick Costa, CEO of Ramsay Health Care UK, could see first-hand the enthusiasm and commitment behind the initiative. We are delighted that so many are supporting us in our mission to ensure more children can start the new school year with confidence. 

Alongside this, we’re also busy preparing uniform packs for 6 schools across the Oasis Academy Trust - we’ll have more on this soon!
