Boxes of Hope
This diary has reminded me how much I used to enjoy writing at school; now that I’ve started, I can’t seem to stop! It’s become a lovely way to pause, catch my breath, and reflect. Good for the mind, too.
I was lucky growing up, I always had new, clean school uniform. And as parents, my husband and I were fortunate enough to do the same for our son. That memory has been on my mind this week as we launched our very first call for pre-loved uniform. It’s a pilot this year, and I’m genuinely excited to see how much we can collect.
I’m especially keen for the charity to help teach children about the circular economy, how they can play a part, even from a young age, in building a more sustainable future. I can’t wait to visit our collection box soon to see how we’re getting on. I’ll report back next week!
