87 Packs, One Day!
Harriet here with a behind-the-scenes update from our latest pick-and-pack adventure!
Over the past few weeks, activity at Uniting Uniforms has really ramped up. With orders rolling in from the schools we're supporting this year, we've been busy snapping up branded and non-branded uniform from every corner of the internet—and when online stock ran dry, we hit the shops to fulfil the orders.
Our Office Services department has turned into a full-blown wardrobe—it’s practically bursting at the seams with boxes and bags of polos, jumpers, trousers, skirts and more.
At the start of August, we turned our attention to packaging up the orders, ready to send to reception starters.
I was joined by an all-star crew—shoutout to Emma, Breagh, Sue Jo, Sally, Wenrong, Sibel, Jemi, Hannah and Ben! We kicked off the day by unpacking mountains of uniform (over 1,000 items!) and sorting everything into piles by item and size. Think organised chaos—but with style.
Once sorted, we each grabbed a school’s order list and played a real-life game of supermarket sweep, picking out uniform sets for each child. Everything was then carefully bagged, stacked by school, and passed on to our quality-check team, who double-checked every order like uniform detectives.
After a whirlwind of folding, packing, and high-energy teamwork, 87 uniform orders were ready to be posted out to Oasis Fir Vale, Oasis Benson, and Oasis Connaught, just in time for their new reception starters this September.
Next up: tackling the pre-loved boxes for Oasis Temple and Oasis Skinner Street. Stay tuned—there’s more uniform magic to come!
